25 postgraduate students had a wonderful afternoon discussing the artists’ studio; its forms and functions; the provision of affordable space in London, and artists’ led studio initiatives.
With contributions from: Graham Ellard (artist and Professor of Fine Art, CSM); Heather Deedman (artist and Senior Artists’ Liaison Officer, Acme Studios); Charlie Day (artist and co-founder of Collective Studios, Wandsworth). The afternoon was an opportunity to explore the issues of studio space in London and gain a more specific understanding of what is at stake, what is available and what is possible.
The afternoon conclude with drinks, networking and a chance to talk one-to-one with the events contributors.
The event is kindly hosted by Acme Studios, at the Acme Project Space in Bethnal Green.
