The media and communications courses within London College of Fashion’s School of Graduate Studies encompass a diverse range of dynamic and forward thinking Masters programmes. While some courses are practice based, others theoretical and several fusing elements of both, what unites this body of work is a curiosity about fashion. Through their mode of chosen communication, these curators, photographers, journalists and academics use visual, verbal and object based languages to push at the edges of their discipline, test its parametres and experiement with boundaries and definitions. From the exhibition makers who reveal narrative processes and new frames of reference to the photographers who stage, capture or crystallise the moment to the journalists exploring new fashion markets to the theorists drawing new maps of understanding, this is the talent today that will shape the industry tomorrow.
