Hamish Muir, a tutor on London College of Communication’s highly acclaimed BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design, who specialises in Information Design, has launched the first of a series of beautifully designed interactive architecture books.
Hamish is a co-founder of Outcast Editions along with photographer Richard Glover and architect Virginia McLeod, and their first publication is Beach House, by Peter Stutchbury Architecture.
The book, part of a series called Detail in Contemporary Architecture, includes photographs, video and architectural drawings.
Other houses in the series range from bespoke to budget in urban, rural and contemporary residential architecture.
Hamish cofounded the design practice 8vo in 1985 and since 2001 has worked as an independent design consultant and tutor at LCC. He is a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale.
