Grazia Trisciuoglio has recently been appointed to the position of Information Graphic Designer in the Analytics team within the International E-commerce department of Live Nation - one of the largest live entertainment companies in the world. Her role involves turning the company business and web analysis and research data into easy to interpret, engaging and high impact info-graphics.
Trisciuoglio, who finished her Postgrad Certificate Design for Visual Communication in 2009 says: “I can see in just a month the potential of data visualisation, since it can create a new and fresh approach to how businesses communicate who they are. There is more awareness of how important it is to communicate in a way that everybody can understand which triggers curiosity and grabs attention. In that sense I definitely think Information graphics is a growing field.”
Having worked as an architect in the Netherlands and the UK, Grazia was quite familiar with the idea of ‘design’. Grazia: “In architecture you design something and then you design how to communicate it. I think I apply a similar approach to data visualisation. I can now say that the Postgrad course I did at LCC has been fundamental for me.”
Before her new role, the LCC alumna started freelancing for Sidan Media, a sport publishing company to visualise football statistics. Some of the visuals have been implemented across different media, and on the kickoff website which is a brand new and growing platform for football information.
