WGSN update

As you may remember, WGSN withdrew it’s education site, WGSN-EDU, at short notice at the end of August. Since then we have been in negotiations with WGSN in order to subscribe to their service. WGSN generously offered us access to their site while we negotiated licence terms.

These negotiations are still ongoing. While we continue to discuss terms staff and students need to be aware that continued access is not guaranteed. Failure to agree terms will result in our access to WGSN being withdrawn.

We will continue to keep you updated.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a student who is studying in LCF. Could I use the service from WGSN through LCF? And what should I do if I want to use this service? Thanks!!

Hi Jenny

WGSN is available on campus only, so you must be at a college PC if you wish to view WGSN. Here’s what you need to do:

1. Go to: http://www.arts.ac.uk/library/e-library.htm

2. Click on Find Resource

3. Type in WGSN

4. On the right hand side of the screen you will see a link that says, ‘click here for passwords’

5. Click on this and scroll down to view the username and password for WGSN – make a note of this

6. Go back and follow the link to WGSN

7. Click on logon

8. Add the username and password that you made a note of

9. Now you can view WGSN
