Special Collections Guide launch at Chelsea

Launch of our new special collections guide, Old College Library, Wednesday 26th November, 6.30pm.

The Special Collections at Chelsea College of Art and Design Library are used for teaching, learning and research in support of the main library collection, and have a strong emphasis on modern and contemporary art. As well as important collections of rare books and periodicals, they comprise artists’ books, multiples, ephemera and more than 20 artists’ and galleries’ archives.

The 48-page Special Collections Guide (ISBN 978-0-902612-08-2) includes a preface by David Garcia, Dean of the College, and an article by Jo Melvin, art historian and curator, and is available in print and in pdf format from the library.
