International Creative Competition finalist
Russian-born artist Arina Gordienko was selected as one of the finalists of the International Creative Competition LICC 2010 with her series of paintings wide shut eyes/wide mouth . She received a trophy at the LICC Awards Ceremony in London on Sunday 12th September.
Arina studied MA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design and Chelsea College of Art and Design. She is now a full-time artist and works in her studio in London. She constantly exhibits her works around the UK, in Europe and USA, and has won several international painting prizes and awards. Her paintings are in private collections worldwide, including Gustav Metzger private collection. In 2010 ARINA became a full-member of the Society of Women Artists in the United Kingdom .
