Last night LCFMA17 Media and Communication exhibition, Found in Translation opened at House of Vans London. Industry professionals and press, joined the LCF community in celebrating the launch of the exhibition, which presents a dynamic showcase of work from the School of Media and Communication Postgraduate courses.

In an age of media convergence, the graduates are the new linguists, speaking across multiple languages using word, image, object, space, sound and body to propose new fashion narratives, meanings and spaces. Below we share some images from last night’s event. All photography by Ben Lansky.

The exhibition includes work on display from MA Fashion Curation, MA Fashion Journalism, MA Fashion Photography, MA Fashion Media Production, MA Costume for Performance, MA Fashion Cultures and Graduate Diploma in Fashion Media Styling.

Found in Translation is an interactive and multi-disciplinary exhibition, and is now open to the public, from Thursday to Sunday until 26 February. It is also combined with a series of free events and workshops that spotlights a new generation of communicators, practitioners and researchers.

The night also featured graduate VJs cutting fashion films live, to a selection of the best independent music from Domino Publishing.  Below is a playlist of some of the music that featured at the event.

LCF and House of Vans London will bring together fashion and music, style and talent for an unforgettable eight days, including a session exploring what Fashion Curation is, a day dedicated to female image-makes and an event with i-d Magazine looking at the future of subcultures.
