BA Fashion Sportswear student carries the torch

Hanna carried the torch through Chelsea on 26 July 2012

Congratulations to BA (Hons) Fashion Sportswear student Hanna Johansson who was one of the 2012 Olympic Torchbearers in London last Thursday. As a Fashion Sportswear student at London College of Fashion, Hanna is very interested in how fashion is increasingly part of the world of sport, while sport impacts upon fashion more and more.

Hanna is a hard-working student who is determined to continue to develop the “friendship” between fashion and sport by creating sustainable and functional clothing. She has been a leading student in her class at the LCF and pursues excellence in all aspects of her studies. When asked about her experience, Hanna said:

“Carrying the torch was as incredible as I thought it would be, I had the most amazing day! I am so honoured and thankful for have been chosen from LCF to represent the school”.
