Twelve finalists showcased their collections at the Core Spirit Style Show. The winners were announced on the night. Winning garments by Alexander Richardson (mens top), Olivia Neocleus (womens top and shorts) and Michelle Brown (printed scarf) will go into production sold at the flagship store in New Bond Street and on the Core Spirit website. These winner students will also receive a share of profits from sales made by Core Spirit.
The remaining finalists were awarded with cash prizes in the following categories: Egle Bujaskite for best overall collection, Danielle Richards for best design led garment, Jasmine Ferguson for best garment to capture Core Spirit Brand, Kerry Skinner for best overall design and marketing, Noemié Adler for best marketing and Kochakorn Richardson for best ‘out of the box’ marketing campaign.
The evening featured a series of a catwalk shows and style installation. A large part of the store was given over to the students to showcase their work and the event proved to be the perfect setting for them to network and engage with the assembled audience of media and fashion professionals all keen to seek out new and emerging talent. The Core Spirit Style Show was followed by an afterparty at Chinawhite club.
