Students research fast fashion in India

As part of a UK-India Education and Research Initiative three MA Fashion Entrepreneurship students from LCF and three BA Fashion Business Management students from Pearl Academy of Fashion, along with staff from both institutions, went on a trip to India to research employer engagement in fast fashion and how workers are trained within the global supply chain.

Staff and students visited factories, head offices, designers, and buying agents in London and Delhi.

The project has enabled students to go on work placements in London and Delhi to facilitate research and analysis buyer and supplier chains as well as develop curriculums in both London and Delhi. The findings have also been put together in a handbook for industry.
