Last night, Lady Gaga, the multi talented singer-songwriter and exhibitionist with a flair for theatrics, arrived for her appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ in Los Angeles wearing a creation by 2011 London College of Fashion MA graduate Dinu Bodiciu.

Dinu, who only showed his final collection at the MA Catwalk show at London’s V&A Museum two weeks ago, had his designs spotted on the catwalk and called in by Lady Gaga’s team of stylists, known collectively as ‘The Haus of Gaga’.
Dinu, from Timisoara in Romania, enrolled onto the MA Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear course at LCF after his background in Graphic Design enriched his desire to further his design skills. His final collection draws on the dichotomy between illusion and reality. In his collection, Dinu has brought the two worlds together – on first glance the outfits appear flat – as they would in a mirror – but in reality the garments are structured, 3 dimensional pieces with bold shoulders and strong silhouettes. The colour palette represents the heat from the body – from greys and nudes through to red.
