Isabelle Grey, Writing Tutor on the MA Screen: Directing, Writing course at Drama Centre London has written the final episode of the new series of ‘The Accused’, Jimmy McGovern’s award winning BBC1 drama.
‘Tina’s Story’ stars Anna Maxwell Martin as a prison officer at a juvenile detention centre, alongside John Bishop, Robert Sheehan, Ewen Bremner was written by Isabelle Grey and Jimmy McGovern and directed by Ashley Pearce. Other episodes in the series feature actors including Sean Bean, Stephen Graham and Drama Centre alumna Anne-Marie Duff. The first series of ‘The Accused’ was shown on BBC One in 2010 and bagged two international Emmy Awards last year: for best series and Christopher Eccleston for best performance by an actor.
‘The Accused’ starts on Tuesday 14 August 2012, and Isabelle’s episode, ‘Tina’s Story’, will end the series at 9pm on 4 September 2012.
