Today we take a quick dip into Rod Judkins’s 100 Drawing Projects course, with Summer School student Vera Khayrutdinova and the amazing work she produced on the course!
Hi, what is your name and where do you come from?
I’m Vera Khayrutdinova and I’m from Moscow, Russia.
What is your occupation?
I’m an artist and interior designer.
What course did you study on and why did you choose it?
I picked 100 Drawing Projects because I wanted to discover new techniques in art.
What did you enjoy most about your course?
Rod Judkins! Rod, the tutor, explained the course so clearly and I liked how he gave us information about each new project.
How has this course benefited your career and personal development?
Due to this experience I’m now planning to do new collection of my pictures.
What would you say to someone who is thinking about taking a short course at Central Saint Martins?
Over the years I have attend many amazing courses at Central Saint Martins and I have thoroughly enjoyed them all. Thanks to this course I think my pictures are acquiring a more contemporary quality.
What do you believe is integral to the work of an artist, in any discipline?
Forget what you did before and start anew.

New art thinking.
