Qiong Yang’s practice is mainly concerned with ambiguity. He attempted to create a mutual presence in opposite concepts, such as painting and sculpture, two-dimension and three-dimension, interior and exterior, being and nothingness, etc. For the recent seires of pieces, he is creating the intersection of fact and fiction, concrete and abstract, and known and unknown.  Qiong Yang is interested in challenging the existed structure of the art. In the other words, He is looking for the possibilities that one work cannot be defined or classified by the knowledge people hold.
