Following the highly successful New Design Britain Awards at the Interiors Show in January 2012, students are now being invited to enter the competition for January 2013. Entry is free and each student may enter up to three individual pieces of work in the four categories. The deadline for entries is Friday 27th July and for all supporting material by Friday 5th October 2012.

The 2012 awards had over 200 entries, and the 16 selected finalists, chosen by a panel of specialists in their field, exhibited their work at Interiors Show 2012. Last year’s winner in the ‘Furnishing Accessories’ category of the New Design Britain Awards was Camberwell College of Arts BA (Hons) 3D Design graduate Roland Beaven with Peaucellier Lamp, 2011, pictured above.
