The Bridge is an interactive performance conceived by Camberwell College of Arts MA Book Arts alumna Janine Harrington.
The work features a cast of 45 dancers and has been developed through a BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship with Independent Dance for Big Dance and Celebrate the City, with support from Henrietta Hale and Yasmin Foster.
Through a series of encounters, the work invites passersby to explore their relationships to the performers – as audience, and as collaborators.
Performances will take place at 14.00, 16.00, 18.00 and 20.00 on the Millennium Bridge in London on Saturday 23 June 2012.
Performances will last 20 minutes and are free. Access will be possible from both sides of the bridge.
The performances are dedicated to Gill Clarke (1954 – 2011).
