Kimathi Donkor awarded 2011 Derek Hill Foundation Scholarship

Following a competitive selection process, Camberwell College is delighted that MA Fine Art alumni Kimathi Donkor has been awarded the 2011 Derek Hill Foundation Scholarship.

The scholarship is a three-month long, full-board research/practice residency at the British School in Rome  (October – December 2011) along with an on-site studio space and an additional monthly grant. The scholarship aims to encourage artists for whom the use of paint and/or drawing is important to the development of their work.

Kimathi graduated in 2010 from Camberwell’s MA Fine Arts (Visual Arts) course.
