On 3rd July, members of archive staff will be participating in an object-based learning workshop here at London College of Communication. Object-based learning is something we often help facilitate, but not everyone has the opportunity to take part themselves. This workshop, organised by the Object Based Learning Community of Practice, aims to allow staff and students who use it in their practice the chance to experience a session. Participants will spend time reading the objects and using this to contribute to a discussion about our understanding of objects, and how this practice can affect art and design pedagogies.
The workshop will be held from 9.30am to 4.45pm at the London College of Communication Tower Block, 7th Floor on 3rd July 2017. Please note that it is aimed at UAL staff and students who utilise object based learning. If you’d like to book a place, please email firstname.lastname@example.org .
